Busy week here at Norden!

BLUE JEANS AND DAISIES has left the building!  All of the shipments have left Norden Crafts, and are either on their way to your LNS or website, or they might have already received them!  Thank you all so much for signing up for this Mystery Club!  With the temperatures being sooooo cold here in Chicago, we are all excited to be thinking SPRING.  If you haven't signed up yet, there is still time!  We have charts, thread packs, and 30ct Blue Jeans from Weeks Dye Works ready to ship!

The 3rd installment in the Santa's Village from Country Cottage Needleworks is also shipping out this week!  The NORTH POLE POST OFFICE is my favorite so far!  I love the letters hanging on the line!  Too cute!

I have to apologize for not getting a post done sooner.  My computer and I have not been getting along, and I have had major computer issues over the last month!  Now that my computer is behaving, I promise it'll be better from now on.

Santa Claus is Coming To Town

We focused on family this weekend, and I spent as much time as possible hugging, and kissing my babies.  My daughter Hannah is 9 years old, and my son Logan is 5 years old. 

The man in the middle is someone very special to me!  Yes, my Dad (Dave Stott - the owner of Norden Crafts) is Santa's Helper!  He makes a couple appearances throughout the Christmas Season, and yesterday he made an appearance at my husbands frozen yogurt store.  So of course, we took our kiddos there to visit him. 

All morning I had to keep telling them "Now when you see Papa, what do you call him?"  They would reply with "Santa" (in a of course Mom type of voice)......and then who slipped and called him Dad twice....yep this girl.  Oops!  Both of my kids were right on point in telling me I did exactly what I told them not to do.  I learned my lesson, that's for sure!

Announcing a NEW SERIES from Little House Needleworks!

Little House Needleworks Presents "LITTLE SHEEP VIRTUES".....a delightful 12 part series!!  Join in on the fun today with Norden Crafts!

We are so excited to announce that Diane Williams of Little House Needleworks has announced her NEW MONTHLY SERIES of Little Sheep Virtues. 

The designs are stitched on alternating two fabrics, from R&R 30ct Dark Chino, and Weeks Dye Works 30ct Cocoa. All of the designs measure the same size with a stitch count of 61w x 61h. That will equate to about a 4" square if stitched on the 30ct linen. There will be directions on the chart if stitchers would like to stitch them all together, but Diane will be showing them as individual designs.

*The 30ct R&R Dark Chino will be used in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

*The 30ct Weeks Dye Works Cocoa will be used in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

Another wonderful part about this series is that each design will have an optional button(s) from JABCO which will be shown in the chart photo. Using the button though is completely optional, and so it is not included with the pattern. If you like the button you can purchase it to add on, and if not, then just stitch the chart as directed without the button.

We just know that you will all fall in love with this new series!  We will begin shipping this auto around the 21st of each month to our customers, so be sure to sign up quickly with your LNS, or favorite stitch site!

SHOP OWNERS - Sign Ups are due to Norden Crafts by January 10th, in order to ensure that we have sufficient supplies on hand for the club. Please keep in mind that we have a limited amount of linen available for the 1st release, therefore, these will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Here are the clues in order, along with a new one!
1. She loved to create and solve mysteries as a young child. She would play a game with her sister where she...

was Nancy Drew.

2. She liked to sew garments when she was in high school, including a black hooded cape that she wore to prom.

3. Before becoming a needlework designer, she wanted to pursue the culinary arts.

4. Music is a huge part of her life and she has been to over 300 concerts, she has a "music room" in her house where she has many pieces of autographed music memorabilia displayed.

5. She has tried sky diving, bungee jumping, and parasailing.
